Before embarking on your fly fishing adventure with us, please carefully read and understand the following disclaimers:

  1. Weather Conditions: Weather conditions are beyond our control and may impact the quality and safety of the fishing experience. We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule trips due to inclement weather for the safety of our clients and guides.

  2. Injury Risk: Fly fishing involves physical activity and inherent risks. Participants acknowledge and accept the risk of injury, including but not limited to slips, falls, and encounters with wildlife. Clients are responsible for their own safety during the excursion.

  3. Food Allergies: Please inform us of any food allergies or dietary restrictions in advance. While we strive to accommodate dietary needs, we cannot guarantee the absence of allergens in provided meals or snacks.

  4. Acts of God: Events beyond human control, such as natural disasters or unforeseen emergencies, may necessitate trip cancellations or modifications. In such cases, we will make reasonable efforts to reschedule trips or provide refunds, but we cannot be held liable for losses incurred.

  5. Fish Catch Guarantee: While our experienced guides will endeavor to facilitate successful fishing outings, catching fish cannot be guaranteed. Factors such as water conditions, fish behavior, and angler skill may influence the outcome. Lack of fish catch does not entitle clients to refunds.

  6. Equipment Responsibility: Clients are responsible for the proper use and care of provided fishing equipment. Any damage or loss of equipment due to negligence or misuse may result in additional charges.

  7. Health and Fitness: Participants should be in good health and possess the physical fitness necessary for outdoor activities. It is the responsibility of clients to disclose any medical conditions or physical limitations that may affect their ability to safely participate in the excursion.

  8. Third-Party Services: We may engage third-party vendors or service providers for certain aspects of the trip, such as transportation or accommodations. While we carefully select our partners, we cannot be held liable for their actions or omissions.

  9. Photography and Media: By participating in our fishing trips, clients consent to the use of their likeness in promotional materials, including photographs and videos, unless otherwise specified in writing.

  10. Reservation and Cancellation Policies: Clients are required to adhere to our reservation and cancellation policies, which may include advance booking requirements, deposit fees, and cancellation deadlines. Failure to comply may result in forfeiture of deposits or fees.

  11. Dam Schedules…: Local Dam schedules vary and change ALL the time eve though their respective sites and apps say other wise. A dam schedule may say “closed or 0 between 5am and 6pm” however, TVA and their dams may have other reasons beyond our unsderstandnig as to why the “turn the dam on”. If this happens the guide will visit other locations but in the end we will refund your money 100%.

Rules

Zero Tolerance Policy: a. Alcohol and Drugs: Consumption of alcohol and/or drugs is strictly prohibited while on the water. Clients must refrain from bringing alcoholic beverages or illegal substances on the trip. b. Intoxication: Clients must not arrive at the meeting point under the influence of alcohol or drugs. Intoxication impairs judgment and poses a safety risk to yourself and others.

  1. Safety Precautions: a. No Rough Housing: Clients must refrain from engaging in roughhousing or disruptive behavior, especially in areas with dangerous currents or unstable footing. b. Listen to Guide: Clients must attentively listen to and follow the instructions provided by the guide at all times to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience. c. Medications: Clients should avoid heavy medications or substances that may impair judgment or physical abilities during the trip.

  2. Legal Compliance: a. Adherence to Laws: Clients must comply with all state, county, and local laws and regulations governing fishing activities, including licensing requirements, size limits, and catch limits. b. Conservation: Catch and release practices must be followed to promote conservation and sustainability of fish populations. Clients are expected to handle fish with care and release them unharmed whenever possible.

  3. Respect for Environment: a. Leave No Trace: Clients must respect the natural environment and leave no trace of their presence by properly disposing of trash and avoiding damage to vegetation and wildlife habitats. b. Wildlife Interaction: Clients should observe wildlife from a respectful distance and avoid disturbing or harassing animals in their natural habitat.

  4. Equipment Care: a. Handle with Care: Clients are responsible for the proper handling and care of provided fishing equipment. Any damage caused by negligence or misuse may result in additional charges. b. Gear Maintenance: Clients should inform the guide immediately of any equipment malfunctions or damage to ensure prompt repairs or replacements.

  5. Personal Responsibility: a. Physical Fitness: Clients should be in good health and possess the physical fitness necessary for outdoor activities. It is the responsibility of clients to disclose any medical conditions or physical limitations that may affect their participation in the excursion. b. Personal Belongings: Clients are responsible for the safety and security of their personal belongings during the trip. It is recommended to leave valuables and non-essential items in a secure location.

  6. Communication and Cooperation: a. Communication: Clients should communicate any concerns or questions to the guide promptly for clarification and assistance. b. Cooperation: Clients are expected to cooperate with the guide and fellow participants to ensure a harmonious and enjoyable fishing experience for everyone.

By participating in a guided fishing trip with any of our guides, clients agree to abide by these rules and guidelines. Failure to comply may result in termination of the trip without refund. If you have any questions or require further clarification, please do not hesitate to contact us.
